UIL Updates Due to COVID-19
UIL schools may, but are not required to, begin Summer Strength and Conditioning, Skills Instruction and Marching Band Practices and Rehearsals on June 8, 2020. The requirements can be found in the Athletics and Music COVID Information pages listed below. UIL will continue to work with state officials and monitor CDC and other federal guidance to determine any potential modifications.

2020 June UIL Legislative Council Meetings
The June UIL Legislative Council meetings were held via Zoom, and were live streamed on the UIL YouTube channel as well as the UIL Legislative Council web page. Please note that in order to ensure safe social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic, there was no physical location for the meetings.

UIL Academics At-Home Experience
Join us for the UIL Academics At-Home Experience. Participation is voluntary. This is not an official competition and will not lead to official awards or points. The goal is to provide your students an opportunity to test their knowledge and skills in our contest events that are aligned with their courses of study.

Judging for the Essay Contests is in progress! Finalists and their coaches will be notified the week of April 20th, and a finalist list will also be available here.

Amid growing concerns over COVID-19 (Coronavirus), the UIL state events have been suspended.
